I think this will work well for protecting my notebook now that it’s on, but you have to be careful when inserting the notebook as it rips easily if the notebook catches on the edge. I wouldn’t use this if you plan to change out your notebook or any decorations inserted underneath it regularly. In saying that I’d buy this again if it protects my notebook well.

although the package did take a little long to get here when it arrived it was in perfect condition. I am often challenged when it comes to online shopping because of the waste from the packaging but the packaging for this notebook was all eco friendly so I had no after guilt at all! overall I would highly recommend this item and this brand to everyone!:)

I bought this to use with my Midori MD notebook but found that it fit my other A5 notebooks as well. I like that it's lightweight and transparent. The penholder is nice but only really works with pens that have a clip and aren't too thick.

These plastic covers are made for the Midori A5 notebooks that are just under a centimetre thick, but they'd probably fit their thinner stapled notebooks. They are simple and effective. They also allow the notebook to be seen in all its minimalist glory. (Hmm. Is that an oxymoron?) I leave on the glassine/tissue wrap that comes with the notebook for an added textural effect. I also have Midori's thick paper covers, which are really nice, but the plastic ones are a little less bulky and have a different aesthetic. Negatives? The pen loop is of limited use because it is not flexible. After prolonged use (well over a year) one of the sleeves is splitting where the notebook is inserted. If you don't like the idea of plastic, go for the thick paper version.
