Hi, we are Clair and Richard, needing a house-sit for a fortnight in October 2024
We have a Labrador and 2 cats (all will be 11 yrs old by then) that need feeding, loving and companionship while we are away.
Prevously in Kilmore, we moved this year and now live in Riddells Creek, a small country town located between Sunbury, Romsey and Gisborne. Riddells Creek has a pub, a bakery, a couple of restaurants and takeway places and a Foodworks supermarket. There's a medical and a dental clinic as well. There is also a Vline station within a 3 minute drive.
Our home is in a quiet street with lovely neighbours. We have NBN and Foxtel.
The house has central heating as well as a split system in the main dining/living area.
Our Lab, Winter, likes to be wherever you are, she loves a ball and a walk, and sleeps outside in her kennel at night, under the pergola; the cats (Freddie and Samantha) are inside only, and they all get along well. Litter trays and a daily 'yard patrol' are required. Winter also has a bed and a beanbag in the living room, with inside toys.
We have a large garden with mature plants and roses, and a veggie patch that will need watering, weather dependant as to how much!
The Macedon Ranges has wineries within a short drive, and almost every weekend there's a market close by. Hanging Rock is about a 25 minute drive away.

Unfortunately, no other animals can be accommodated. Winter is dog friendly but as the cats live inside, they may be scared of a strange dog.
We may be able to accommodate a caravan on-site, please contact us to discuss requirements, however your day to day living would need to be in the house as the animals all need companionship, particularly Winter. She thrives on her routine of being in the house when we get home from work and in the evenings
If time and circumstance permit, we'd love you to come and visit before the house-sit, otherwise Facetime or phone is a good way to get to know you and chat about the house and animals more.
