We live in the historical city of Ballarat, that won the top tourist town award in Victoria this year. Our city has Sovereign Hill, Wildlife Park, Botanical gardens near lake, Kryall Castle and is only 1.5 hours away from Beach, Grampians and Melbourne (good train transport to Melbourne)
Our house is victorian era, with a beautiful garden. Woolworths, Aldi, Chemist Hardware, Medical centre are only 2 blocks away. There is a bus stop around the corner that goes into the city which is 3km away (could be walked.)
Our beautiful animals consist of a 13 yr old Maltese Shihtzu (does need daily medication) She sleeps most of the day. A Bernese mountain dog 4 yrs old, who is shy at first, A Cavoodle 1yr old and my Daughters cat we are babysitting.
Gardening would only be watering pots and depending on how hot it is some of the garden also
