I am Brenda who is an energetic retiree I'm are looking to travel around Queensland, I have been pet/housesitting since early 2017 in many regions of Victoria and Queensland, I have realised that this new vocation of mine is a brilliant opportunity to combine seeing Queensland with my love for animals, and taking care of them in their own environment as I know first hand how difficult it is to find the right carer to look after your loved furbaby/s.
I love animals, and have had a variety of pets over many years!. I have a grown up daughter and 4 grown
up grandchildren! Whom I love dearly.
And now I find I have time for myself and the enjoyment of helping out others.
During my experiences I have obtained unmeasureable skills and empathy towards the furbabies that I look after to ensure that we meet their needs, eg..diet, medication, comfort etc.
Previously I have house sat and looked after pets for our friends as well as family over the past 8 years and have enjoyed doing so.
I enjoy having time to myself, as well as going for walks, spending time with family, pottering around the garden and caring for others.
I am also pesctarian, non smoker, reliable and trustworthy. As I worked with children, I hold a current working with children check, and a first aid certificate for over 18years.
I take pride in being a clean and tidy sitter and loving the pets I care for as if they were my own, but respect the instructions of the owners, I also have my own transport.
So if you like what you read I must be the one for you!

“The lovely Brenda was amazing with our home, pets and garden while we were away on holiday recently. I had such peace of mind going away knowing that she was looking after everything. The house was so well maintained and our pets were happy and comfortable upon our return. We have a very nervous little dog and Brenda knew exactly how to approach him and take her time with him so he felt comfortable and supported.Our dog required some oral medication while we were away and Brenda was able to administer this without any issues. Brenda is such a lovely, kind and gentle person also. We loved receiving photo updates of our fur babies while we were away. I cannot recommend Brenda enough and I'm looking forward to having her look after our place on our next holiday adventure.”

“We had Brenda at our home in Hervey Bay for 10 days while we were in NZ in that time Brenda looked after our 8 year old Labrador and minded our home. Everything was perfect and our dog loves her. We would certainly recommend Brenda to anyone a lovely caring person to have .”

“Brenda was alsome for my wife and me and patch the dog, when we went away for a month we could not be any happier. She looked after patch and the house excellent and when we came home the house was in perfect condition, we will get Brenda again not a problem thanks.”
