Single,energetic female that loves travel & has been house-pet sitting for the last 6yrs, mainly on the Mid North Coast of NSW.
Non-smoker.
Use only environmentally -friendly products (chemical free when possible) for myself & for any pets I care for with owner’s consent.
Happy to care for owner’s gardens, pools (I’ve done several house-sits where I’ve maintained the pool during entire sit).
I’ve really enjoyed pet-sitting & have decided to venture further afield & combine travel & house/pet sitting for longer periods of time.
I’ve cared for cats,tabbies & a Siamese and currently 2 Ragdoll cats, Burmese and Persian breeds.
Mainly pet-sat dogs,Maltese terriers/Shih Tsu,Whippet,GreyHounds(rescue dogs) Bull Mastiff, Caboodle, King Charles Cavalier, Rottweiler/Staffi, Blue Heeler, some of the breeds so far?
I enjoy gardening,reading,listening to music,watching a good movie or documentary.
I’ve lived in Sydney,Newcastle,South West Rocks & more recently Melbourne for 14yrs & have relocated back to the Mid North Coast now.
Looking forward to doing many more house & pet sits & meeting new people & exploring new places/surrounds.?

In addition to Mindahome stays I’ve also done several long-stay house sits, the latest was for 6mths in 2021 at Lighthouse beach,(Port Macquarie), NSW and also Port Macquarie general area now frequently.

“We are first time Mindahome users. Laurie looked after our home and 4 pets while we were overseas for a just over a month. She regularly sent us photos and we felt totally at ease as we could see the animals were well cared for. Everything was clean and tidy when we arrived back home. “Having Laurie stay at my place was very good, Laurie is great at communicating and is obliging a very attentive to detail. Laurie learn’t a few new ways of how I have a catio an automatic cat litters nothing was a problem . The house was left tidy an clean and the animals soon came into a good routine with her. I was very comfortable and trusting of her an would highly recommend her and welcome her back again.”

“Laurie looked after our home as if it were her own. It was important for us to have the garden looked after and grass mowed regularly and she was fantastic. She sent us photos of the garden and maintained regular contact with us whilst we were overseas. When we returned home after 2 months travelling the house and gardens were immaculate, and were didn’t have to do anything aside from our immediate washing and shopping for food. Based on our experience I definitely recommend Laurie to look after your home and garden.”
