I am a responsible and friendly animal lover with many years of pet- and house-sitting experience. I have lovingly looked after a variety of pets, including large dogs and elderly cats and dogs (some with health issues), as well as very sensitive rescue pets with past trauma.

Animals respond really well to my calm and loving energy... and quickly feel comfortable around me. Dogs being walked in the park or on the street often insist on approaching me for pats and tummy rubs, which I love! As a Reiki Master, I share Reiki energy with all animals I encounter, and find dogs and cats in particular love the calming and uplifting energy of Reiki.

I genuinely love spending time with animals and giving them the loving care and attention they inherently deserve.

I am respectful, empathetic, clean and tidy, and live a healthy and active lifestyle.

Reliable, honest and authentic, I am committed to providing house sits that give you peace of mind that you have left your home and fur babies in safe and capable hands.

I have great references and a recent Police Check.

“Lu recently house sat and looked after my two cats, Quincy and Alice. On my return the house was spotless, and the cats clearly hadn't missed me at all, I think they were disappointed when I came back! Lu has such a lovely, calm presence, and it was obvious that Quincy and Alice felt completely relaxed and comfortable in her care. I received regular updates throughout my time away, so I didn't have to worry about a thing. “Thank you Lu for looking after Charlie (our ragdoll boy) whilst we were on holiday. The photos and captions of Charlie's adventures was awesome and we looked forward to them each day without fail. Thanks also for arranging frequent play dates with the neighbour's cat and the journeys to the 10th floor rooftop which he really enjoys. I'm so glad Charlie bonded so quickly with you, and his calm, chilled nature remained. We recommend Lu (5 stars) for further mindahome connections/services. “Lu is amazing, she turned out to be my Mary Poppins! I can't recommend Lu enough to any loving pet owner, she made me feel secure and comfortable from the first day she arrived. I have three cats (7,6 + 2), two which are quite timid and shy. She encouraged all three cats to feel confident and trust her, with her style of sitting and perhaps Lu's calm energy. I love it that Lu paid so much attention to their behaviour, she helped me uncover traits that I am now correcting to help them in the long run. She helped me relax into my holiday and updated me as frequently as needed, I felt informed at all times and knew everything was fine. Her love & care towards my three babies was incredible, like they were her own. I think they've adopted Lu as their new Auntie! She is missed.”

“Incredible! We went away overseas and Pumpkin then got sick for the first time ever. Lu kept us up to date and took her to the vet. When we got back the house was in great condition and the dogs were happy and healthy!”

“Lu has been fantastic looking after our cat Rosie over the Christmas and New Year break. Her communication was excellent, and she provided regular updates and photos. Rosie had a great time with Lu. “Lu was amazing with our Rigby dog whilst we were in Bali for 2 weeks, we couldn't have asked for a better pet/house sitter. She really took such good care of him and walked him everyday, twice...I think he misses her! Our house was in perfect shape when we got home and Lu was communicative whilst we were away with updates/photos of Rigby which we loved. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Lu, she was fantastic and nothing a problem. Thanks Lu Gemma & Joe”
