Hi, My husband Bruce and I love our family, travelling, gardening and enjoying pets, especially dogs. We are very conscious of keeping a home tidy and cared for. We love meeting new people and exploring new regions. We are both double vaccinated. At this stage in our lives where we can be more flexible, we are happy to take on smaller commitments such as pet and garden sitting. I am a counsellor and as alot of my work is now online, I am able to travel more. Bruce is a caretaker and loves keeping properties, particularly gardens, neat and tidy. Bruce grew up on a farm and managed it for 20 years. We had beef cattle, sheep, dogs and chickens.

“Anne and Bruce did a great job of looking after Billy the dog and my home for 4 days in December 2024. They liaised with me before we went away and visited the day before to receive instructions about caring for Billy and living in the house. They are lovely people and were easy to communicate with at all times, including sending an update re how Billy was going. I would be happy to have them come again and recommend them to other home/pet owners. Thanks Anne and Bruce.”

“Anne and Bruce are reliable, clean and communicative while we were away. They cared for our newly adopted greyhound Molly and gave her regular walks. Our house was clean and tidy on our return. I would highly recommend them for a home minding job.”

“This was our first time having someone else stay and mind our Maltese shitzu and chickens whilst we went overseas for 8 days. Anne and Bruce were the perfect couple to stay at our place! They came to meet us a few weeks before we left which I thought was lovely. They followed instructions perfectly and left the house spotless. Cookie was also very calm and I could tell he was well looked after. Whilst we were away Anne and Bruce sent messages, photos and videos via WhatsApp of Cookie and the chickens which our kids loved to see. Freshly washed sheets were on the bed when we came back after a really long flight - so very kind and thoughtful! Thanks Anne and Bruce for being wonderful gentle people and helping us relax whilst away. We would love to have you stay again. Thank you”

“Anne and Bruce were wonderful house sitters. Anne made me feel comfortable the moment I spoke with her. Anne was wonderful with my dogs, one of my dogs is deaf and has some challenging behaviours. Both of my dogs ran straight up to great her. After my holiday I returned to a well cared for home and dogs that were calm showing they had been well cared for. I would not hesitiate to recommend Anne and Bruce they are warm and professional and I hope that they will return to house sit for me in the future.”
