Hello! We are Mike and Marie, a retired couple from Adelaide. We have 2 children and 5 grand kids who we adore. In our spare time we enjoy travelling and playing lawn bowls. We are non-smokers and don’t drink.

We love animals and have had dogs of our own in the past (see second photo of our girl Pippa). We like to treat others’ homes and pets as if they were our own, and we would love the opportunity to look after your home. We have our own car for transport and police checks available.

“Michael & Marie, You both were incredible with our two old senior BC's who enjoyed the slow paced lifestyle. The King and Queen treatment you gave them with your love and attention was impeccable. Especially with our old boy Max who requires medication for his old man aliments. They loved their daily early morning walks and extra cuddles. We were very much at ease upon the first of 3 meet and greets, which we thought was impressive for the sake of our fur kids to create a bond before leaving for our family holiday which for them is important and for us was an instant relaxing feeling. When we were away we had not one single worry. We appreciated the photos and updates of how things were going with our fur babe's back at home. The house was left in the same manner and our plants and lawn were watered.”

“Highly recommend Marie and Michael as reliable house sitters. A lovely couple who we hope to stay in touch with and we will definitely utilise their services again should the dates suit us both. Our house and garden were spotless when we arrived home. Our Maltese Shitzu doggie was so happy with them that she did not recognise us when we got home, and would have happily abandoned us and gone with Marie and Michael Cannot thank them enough ❤️”

“Michael and Marie were fabulous. Our 2 ( neurotic and high maintenance ) dogs loved them on sight which is very unusual for one of them and when we got home the dogs were very calm, happy and relaxed. They had been cuddled, walked daily and spoilt. The dogs sleep in the bed with us which was not something every Housesitter agrees to but Michael and Marie were used to it. They fed the local wildlife as we do. The house was perfect and Mike and Marie couldn’t have been nicer. We got lots of photos and updates while away. We highly recommend Michael and Marie and will use them again. Kate and Brian”

“Michael and Marie were wonderful! This was our first time using this service and it was so great to come home and find our house and pets so well cared for. Our pets Benson and Betty were very happy and our house was left perfectly. We would love to have Michael and Marie available for all of our holidays - we would definately recommend their services!! “What wonderful, caring and thoughtful people Marie and Michael have been. My husband and I are so grateful for the efforts that our pet sitters went to prior to our absence, to ensure our very anxious kelpie cross was going to be happy with them for a couple of weeks. Living close by, they offered to walk Pearl on 3 separate occasions, on her familiar walking paths enabling us and Pearl to feel confident in their hands. We're also impressed with the care taken of our home and garden, being left clean and attractive despite the autumnal fall of leaves over everything just prior to our home coming. Nothing was too much to request regarding the care of our dog, including their responsiveness to her strange behaviors caused by anxiety. We highly recommend Marie and Michael and shall be calling on their services with great confidence in the future.”
