Hi! We are a happy and engaging couple with *over 6 years' experience and over 50 sits completed within Australia and overseas.

*Please Note: we are unable to sit with Cats as unfortunately, Jane is allergic! *

Our love of animals (particularly dogs) has provided us with the opportunity to care for some true characters including the young, old, small, large and in-between furry ones - not forgetting those requiring regular medications.

Meeting people and discovering new places is an added bonus when we house and pet sit, as is the opportunity to spend time relaxing at home; keeping things clean & tidy, tending to your garden and ensuring your pets are not fretting in your absence.

Danny is retired and Jane is semi-retired; occasionally working freelance part-time which she is able to do from wherever we are.

Our regular interests include photography, birdlife, nature walks, great coffee, art, being at the beach, swimming, lazy lunches, exploring small towns and of course, taking VERY good care of YOUR home and MUCH LOVED family pets.

Along with Mindahome, we are also active members of AussieHousesitters and TrustedHousesitters and are happy to say we do a lot of repeat and referral sits.

“Jane and Danny completely put our minds at ease as soon as we met them. We had never had our Poppy pet sit before so naturally we were quite nervous and just wanted to be sure we had someone who would care for our girl and our home as we do. We could not have possibly hoped for anyone better than Jane and Danny. They came a week early to meet us, go through the house and to meet Poppy. While we were away they continually updated us on Poppy and even took her to the vet a couple of times due to some unexpected issues. They were so attentive to her and her needs and they looked after our home just as we do. We returned to a clean, tidy home and a happy dog. I honestly couldn’t recommend them more if I tried. “Jane and Danny were the perfect house sitters. They communicated with phone calls, messages and pictures (just the perfect amount). Our dog and chickens were well loved, shown more attention than normal and our dog was taken on many walks. Our house was spotless upon return as well. Thank you Jane and Danny. “You know you found the right house/pet sitters when you come home and everybody you cross paths with comments on how good they were, how they cared for your pet and how they fitted in to the community. Jane and Danny are those house/pet sitters. The communication was great before and during the sit. The regular (but not too often) photo updates were lovely to receive. And when the inevitable goes wrong (washing machine door won't open, dog needs to see the vet, the fridge leaks) they were more than capable of sorting it out. Returning home to a beautifully clean house and recently washed dog was an absolute bonus. I only wish there were more stars on the rating so I could give them 6 or 7 stars. Jane and Danny are highly recommended, if you are lucky enough to engage them you will be very pleased.”

“Jane and Dan were wonderful sitters. Being a first timer to this service I had my reservations, but Jane put my mind at ease. She was open with communication, explaining the process, finite details and was thoroughly organised, which made it easy from my end. They were respectful, tidy and cared for our home and my boy Jaxx - he adored them - and were in constant communication with us. We were very grateful to have found them through this service and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to prospective home/pet owners.
