I have travelled extensively and cared for beloved cats, dogs, fish, chickens, children, gardens and birds on 4 continents. It has been an honour to have cared for so many peoples home sanctuary's as well as their beloved fur and feathered babies.

Cleanliness, trustworthiness, resourcefulness, responsibility and organisation are inbuilt skills and are important to me. My intention is always to leave all things immaculate and well cared for.

Meditation, yoga and creative pursuits are my go to and I work from home. I am much more at ease in nature. I have a world view and live a simple life.

“We found Karen friendly, reliable and upbeat. She managed a large house and pool with a big garden and an elderly cat that can be quite needy. Karen impressed us with her level of experience, taking it all in her stride with minimal guidance and our garden and pool looked wonderful on our return. She managed every issue herself and was very low maintenance. She is an excellent communicator and kept in touch with us throughout our absence, reassuring us that she was coping well. Karen is a sensible and calm person who inspired confidence and worked to lighten our load on our return. She cleaned the house, changed the linen and remade the beds, ensuring that we arrived home to a clean, well-organised house. We would highly recommend Karen for any house-sitting position and would be happy to be contacted as referees.”

“We were lucky to have Karen look after our energetic Kelpie puppy, 2 cats and 5 chickens over Easter holidays. Karen was on the front foot with communication, very responsive and considerate - making time to meet with us beforehand and providing comforting updates while we were away. The cats including one very shy one were comfortable and happy, puppy was walked and socialised and chickens watered over the few days she stayed in our home. House was also perfect on our return. Thanks for staying Karen.”

“We are very happy with the way Karen looked after our pet and our home. We arrived home to a happy little dog who’d been given lots of attention, taken on nice long walks and enjoyed plenty of playtime. Our house was nice and tidy and even the bed linen was all washed. We’d definitely recommend Karen and would be happy for her to house sit for us again.”

“We were so fortunate to have found the most amazing and caring pet and house sitter in Karen. She has always been so professional, kind, and thoughtful towards us and our many pets! We have 6 so that's a lot of cuddles and attention to share out every day while we were away!!! Our home was cared for like it was her own and she always kept us well informed of anything that we needed to know about. I would book Karen again in an instant!!!”
