I am recently retired and an empty nester and wanting to experience living in new areas. I have recent experience caring for smallish dogs, cats, fish, a snail and a sour dough starter needing attention weekly! I am a bit of a pet whisperer, owners often saying how calm they are when they arrive home. Also apparently the first loaf of sourdough after I tended to the starter tasted better than previous loaves!
I grew up with various farm animals too so willing to try almost anything with instruction.
I am very house proud and the sort of person that has always received the entire bond back when renting even in my early life. In fact the owner of the real estate agency I rented from for the last 5 years until June 2022 is happy to be a phone reference.
I love animals and am just as happy in the garden weeding and mowing and capable of light maintenance. I am a good communicator and always happy to give regular updates.
I am a bit of a home body and my hobbies are crafty things, gardening, reading, walking, researching stuff on the internet, music, singing, movies and catching up with grandchildren on facetime. My evenings are pretty much exclusively at home from 5pm as I watch The Chase.
I have a current Police check, many reviews on this site and I can supply written references via email and phone re my pet care and housekeeping.
I am always available to do phone, wattsap video, facetime or face to face interviews to answer any questions you may have.
I started house/petsitting thinking it would be short term but I love it and often get invited back. I am still looking to explore new areas though.
