We are a recently retired couple (teacher & admin officer) who have been traveling through Australia in our motorhome since July 2022. During this time, we have been house and pet sitting, caring for a wide variety of pets and farm animals. We pride ourselves in keeping your home tidy, your animals happy and your belongings safe and secure during your absence. We use Whatsapp, Skype and FB Messenger to stay in touch and send regular updates throughout our house sit. Our motorhome is 7.2m long, 2.6m wide and 3.4m high and we will need a suitable parking space, which can be your driveway or street parking if permitted. We have completed more than a dozen house sits and it would give us great pleasure to make you our next happy house sitting partner.

“Marika & Klaus looked after our 6 alpacas for a week in May 2024. The alpacas were well cared for and all instructions regarding their care and our off grid solar powered home were followed. No garden maintenance was necessary and as they stayed in their motorhome our home was how we left it.”

“It was lovely going on holiday with the peace of mind knowing Klaus and Marika were looking after the cats and the house so well! The cats adore them and as always the house was spotless on pour return - hopefully see you again! They were also very accommodating about an extra day added to the stay which was super helpful.”

“o What a pleasure it was to have Marika and Klause look after our home while we were away. They are very pleasant and friendly, and our house looked like a new home when we arrived back. The garden was flourishing, the fish were well cared for, their pond fresh and sparkling, the pool clean and sparkling. In fact the whole place was sparkling. They provided regular updates and photos of the pets which reassured us from afar and left the house clean and tidy and the garden well maintained. It was great to know that the house and pets were in capable hands even when the dog was ill and during the wildest and hottest weather of the year.
