Hi! We have just up dated profile April 2024. Heading to Adelaide early November 2024 till around early January 2025. Then heading back home to Tassie, after our wonderful adventure in WA, we both have settled into 12 months of enjoying caring for beautiful fur friends and a few other pets too. Started September 2023! We are a happy/ Fit retired couple in our early sixties. Own our own property in Ulverstone/ Tasmania. We both love our family,pets/ gardening/ walking/ golfing. Rodney retired from our own window company, after 25 years. He loves looking after our veggie garden, good with general maintenance around our home. Couple of my long time jobs that I found suited me, was in the day centre looking after the animals at the Sprent farm school. Worked for many years in age care home looking after the residents care & therapy. In our life it’s been a big part to love/care and enjoy our family pets. We chose not to replace our pets after Cassie, little 14 year old schnauzer and pussycat that was 23 years old when he passed ?‍⬛.. felt it would open it up for opportunity to care for other loved pets and homes as we would our own. We are tidy/caring/reliable/honest and non smokers. Reference available from Lina! Our beautiful Airbnb owner from Perth. We have stayed regularly over many years. Still plan to stay there in between sits and van. Have other references and verbal if requested. Very happy to meet up before if able and communication via FaceTime & phone. “We we so lucky to have Vickie & Rodney stay for our 4 day break with our 9 year old anxious as Spaniel & an extra surprise was I had got a maltese shitzu puppy after their sit was organised. They were so happy to take on the extra burden of a 3 month old puppy. we were so very grateful. Such a lovely couple who we got on with the minute they walked in the door. Our pooches were just as comfortable with them. Our house was spotless as we left it. I would certainly have them back and thoroughly recommend them to whoever needs a sitter in the future. “Vicki & Rodney were wonderful house sitters. If available we will definitely get them again. Our dog was very well cared for and our house and garden were looked after. We got updates and photos from them while we were away showing our dog looking very happy which was so lovely. When we got home our house was clean, the sheets were on the line and the most beautiful present was left for us. They are the most beautiful people and we would recommend them to anyone requiring a house and/or pet sitter. We also gained some wonderful new friends.”

“WOW is all I can say about Vicki Sue and Rodney. Regular updates received whilst we were away and came home to a happy cat and a spotless home. Hubby was in awe of how well our plants were attended to. Gifts left for us on our return, home made treats and milk and bread… very spoilt. “Vicky and Rodney were excellent house/ dog sitters as they carer for our house and two dogs like they were their own. Their communication before and during the sit were excellent. It was lovely to receive photos and messages about our dogs while we were on our holiday overseas. When we returned home they even left us food supplies and a cooked dinner which was very much appreciated after a long flight home! We would definitely ask them to care for our dogs and house again”

“If you have posted a house sitting ad and Vicki and Rodney apply for it, accept them NOW!!!!!!! If you want your fur babies so well loved and cared for and your house looked after and kept spotlessly clean then you'd better hope that Vicki and Rodney are interested in your ad. They looked after our senior dog and cat for 5 nights over Easter. They are genuinely kind, caring, friendly, honest, lovely people. Nothing was too much trouble and they showed a sincere interest in wanting to smother our boys with affection from the minute they met them. They also sent daily photos and updates which I appreciate very much. You couldn't ask for a nicer more trustworthy couple to stay in your home while you are away. I will be seeing if they are free first for any of our future trips .”

“Huge Thankyou to Vicki and Rodney, right from the get go they were easy to communicate with and all to happy to meet me on several occasions prior to my holiday. The day of me leaving I was greeted warmly by both, they took on everything I asked. During my holiday I was kept up to date with everything that was happening back home, I felt very at ease knowing how safe and comfortable the hands I left with my house and fur babies. I arrived home to an immaculate house, the house smelt amazing and a very happy dog. I also unexpectedly had a welcome home gift waiting for me on the kitchen bench with novelties I love. I'm so extremely grateful for both Vicki and Rodney for their time sitting for me, I've even asked them back next year and I can't wait to see them again!!”

“We were lucky enough to have Vicki and Rodney house/dog sit for us for 2 weeks this month. We found the house spotless as it had been left. Our aged 16yo Beagle Buddy was well cared for. We have since booked Vicki and Rodney for three forward sits for 2024. They are very responsible, caring people and we knew Buddy was in good hands. Our front and rear yards were taken care of too so there was nothing to do when we arrived back. There was even a meal, milk and fruit in our fridge upon our return. Can highly recommend.
