I'm a very neat and tidy semi-retired man (Solo, It's Just Me) who loves spending time with family pets. I am fit and healthy, spend a lot of time walking and exercising, I enjoy being at home and love to spend time in the garden.
I am currently living in Perth but am originally from Melbourne.
Lately I have had the opportunity to get out and about and travel around Australia which I am really enjoying.
Over the years we have had the pleasure of having multiple pets as part of our family and somehow this managed to include 5 dogs, two cats, budgies, canaries and of course rabbits (fortunately not all at once).
Back in the day, I had experience house minding for extended periods (2017) while our home was being renovated and loved the experience and found the pets helped keep us centred during a rather busy time.
Happy to chat with anyone who is considering me (just me) as a potential house sitter and ideally I would love to meet your pet/s prior, as it is as equally important for them to feel comfortable with me as it is for you.

“Paul looked after my dog Tapas and my home for two weeks, and the experience couldn’t have been better. From our first phone call he was friendly, organised and committed to making sure everything was clear. He visited beforehand to meet Tapas and familiarise himself with the house, and immediately gave off a calm, reliable presence. Tapas adored him from day one. Throughout the stay he sent regular photos, videos and updates, which made being away easy. She was walked multiple times a day, kept to her usual routines and given real companionship and affection. When I returned, she was relaxed, happy and clearly bonded with him. The house was spotless, with extra cleaning and thoughtful touches that exceeded expectations. “Amazing person who has become our dogs Uncle Paul. Paul maintained a high level of upkeep of our apartment keeping it as clean as how we left it, watered the plants regularly, but more importantly, he dealt with some health issues with one of our dogs administering daily medication and managing the illness. He walked them daily and provided regular updates and photos. Our dogs love him , Paul has become a friend and love having him around.”

“Paul looked after Eddy, our Springer Spaniel, and house for five weeks. I absolutely give him the highest recommendation. Paul and Eddy obviously developed a very close bond during this time. Paul kept up all Eddy's usual walk schedule (which is quite demanding being an active dog) and usual routines. He also kept in close contact with us sending us photos and giving us updates almost daily. It was wonderful to have such peace of mind during our holiday and know that Eddy was in such capable hands. The top priority was Eddy's welfare, but it was such a bonus to come home to not only a happy dog, but an immaculate house complete with flowers, wine and provisions in the fridge. Thank you Paul from the bottom of our hearts.”

“We feel so lucky to have had Paul as our house and Pet Sitter for the past 6 weeks. We met him twice before we left and he filled us with confidence from the very beginning. Our dog Lochie obviously adored him and he sent us many photos while we were away which showed a very happy dog indeed and I believe he is missing him now that he has left. Paul did a superb job of looking after our house and garden. His housekeeping skills are 10/10. I’m so grateful to have come home to a spotlessly clean house. He is a kind and thoughtful man who would be welcome in our home any time. The icing on the cake was to come home to fresh food in the fridge and a beautiful bunch of roses to welcome us home I can 100% recommend Paul.”

“Paul did an excellent job of looking after our house and dog, Leeloo. My son missed Leeloo a lot, Paul was excellent at send photos and short videos during the period we were away. She always looked happy and was in fine form when we got home after 5 weeks away. The house was clean and we were able to settle straight back in on our return. I was very grateful for Paul's help.”

“Can't speak highly enough of this gentlemen. As soon as we met Paul and saw how he immediately connected with our 3 pups, we felt comfortable and knew that they would be in safe hands. We had a bit of an issue with one of our pups who fell ill 1 week before the assignment commenced. Paul looked after her by administering the meds regularly. We received regular updates and photo's which made us feel even more comfortable. On our return, we found the house immaculate, and as Paul was preparing to depart, the pups would not leave him alone and were all over him. The next morning, they went looking for him in the bedroom where he slept. We give Paul 10 1/2 out of 10 and hope that we can have him look after our pups again in the near future.”

“Wow what can I say !! Paul was fantastic . He looked after our elderly fur baby “Ruby” like she was his own. Our indoor plants were all looking good & our home was left spotless. Also arrived home to a lovely surprise of wine, chocolates & flowers. Paul was flexible with our return travel dates which eased our minds. We got regular pics & updates on our Ruby's progress which kept me from worrying due to her age. I wouldn’t hesitate to have Paul back in an instant! Thankyou so much for everything Paul. “Paul took such wonderful care of our 2 pets and our home. Already at the "meet and greet" our 2 girls bonded lovely with Paul. He sent us photo updates during the stay and communicated even when a parcel arrived. He watered our garden (it was beautiful to come home to lovely ripe vegetables), took the bins out etc. and he left our place spotless (cleaned, vacuumed etc), even washed his sheets and hang them out to dry before we returned home. Will definitely asks Paul again to pet sit if he is available next time we go away :-) Thanks so much Paul for looking after our girls, it gave us such a relaxing time away, knowing our girls and our home were cared and looked after so beautiful.”
