Hello.
I am a 64 year old father of two grown up daughters. I have been a longtime live in caregiver and I am very experienced at running and maintaining a residence.
I enjoy gardening and while I currently have no pets of my own, I have cared for many different animals over the years, both as pets and whilst living on rural properties. I've been told that I am a very neat and tidy person and always keep houses and gardens in a presentable state through choice rather than expectation. You may be assured that your property and pets will be in safe and secure hands while you are absent.
I am an easy going person who enjoys both being in the countryside and quiet evenings at home. For a number of years I was also involved in the entertainment industry, presenting sound and lighting for shows and managing stages, venues and acting as an artist liaison.
I enjoy an occasional social drink, reading and playing guitar.

“Rod was a great house sitter he looked after my two girls very well and they took a shine to him. Rod walked my two girls and sent me photos which eased my mind they were being well cared for. Rod left the house clean and tidy even changing the bed and washing the sheets which was very appreciated after a short break away coming home to. “I found my dog happy and content when I returned. My neighbor had seen Rod out with my Owen and said he looked like he was enjoying the walk The mail was brought in and bins emptied and the house was left tidier than when I left. I have an extensive garden which was watered well I have no hesitation in recommending Rod for future sits.”

“Rod has been so hardworking keeping our garden in order with whipper snipping the winter grass. Our two dogs became his friend immediately. All that we instructed him to do, was done. We were hoping to have him house-sit again this coming year, but he has already made commitments elsewhere. But we are happy for others to have someone like Rod to care for their property and pets.”

“Rod was an amazing house sitter, he was so easy to communicate with,we went away for 4 days, and he sent us pictures of both of our dogs. Rod is retired so was able to spend his days at our place with the dogs. Our house was left in immaculate condition. We would definitely recommend Rod and we will most certainly be asking him to sit for us again. Thanks so much Rod!”
