CURRENT AVAILABILITY: 8th February to 13th February, 2025 and 14th April to 21st April, 2025.

I am 58, Australian, have lived and worked remotely for the last 8 years across the NT and QLD, sole caretaker on cattle stations over the wet and have been an all-rounder in the outback. I’m a practical thinker and create solutions should problems arise.

I relocated to Brisbane in July 2024 and plan to buy an acre and a tiny home and live off-grid late 2025.

I am house-proud, adore gardening and cooking and am a lover of all animals. I have cared for cattle, horses, pigs, working dogs, dogs and cats, birds, bottle fed poddies and roos and have even looked after an Emu.

I can drive a tractor, manicure lawns with a zero-turn mower, weed, prune, and love growing veggies too.

I have excellent references and anything from a fortnight stay to longterm would be fantastic.

A lover of the outdoors I’d be super happy to have a garden/gardens to nurture during my stay.

I currently work remotely on my laptop which I love.

I love to cook and enjoy a wine with my meal.

“Deb sat our home in Brisbane for nearly 4 weeks over summer and she more than lived up to her profile and her excellent references. Our home/ pool/ garden was very well cared for and was left in very neat and clean condition as advertised. She also had genuine care and attention for our Jack Russell terrier. “Deb is an amazing house sitter and anyone who manages to book her is very lucky. I came home and it felt like I had just left as everything was exactly the same…only cleaner. I had workmen building a deck that weren’t finished when I left and Deb water blasted all their muddy footprints off my terrace, she looked after my house as if it were her own My cats loved Deb and were looking for her. I 1000% recommend Deb and will be asking her again anytime I go away.”

“Deb, MAXX, and I engaged well from interview, leading up to, during and completion of assignment - communication -exceptional. I returned home to a spoilt, well cared for and confident MAXX. No evident trauma, other then obviously spoilt. The goldfish all survived, as did the plants, shrubs, and mini garden - all alive and well. Neighbours engaged well with Deb, and I believe, friendships formed Home, garden were well cared for and I arrived home to a well maintained, clean and tidy home, garden, goldfish and MAXX. We went on a 5 weeks overseas holiday with the confidence the Deb would take care of our home and dogs and she didn’t disappoint us.
