We are a married couple, retired from north shore Sydney suburb of Pymble. We owned our own business for over 25 years in print management and labor hire. In April 2015, we packed up our house, put everything in storage, rented out our home and traveled through UK, Europe, Istanbul, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, India and SE Asia. Walked the Camino, a must do! and generally ticking off our bucket list!

Since April 2016, in between overseas adventures we have been housesitting via Mindahome, visiting different regions, discovering what is in our own 'back yard' and meeting wonderful people and gorgeous pets along the way. It has been a truly amazing journey to date and opened our eyes to what a wonderful country we live in. We have in the past 7 years, house sat some gorgeous homes and pets, farms, livestock and even managed an outback luxury lodge in FNQ which was completely off grid! Amazing!
And a luxury b&b in Port Macquarie.

Recently returning to housesitting after Covid lockdowns with our first sits in Ballina, Tura Beach, Barwon Heads, Daylesford and Shoalhaven all with home owners that we have sat for via Mindahome in the past and which we have built lovely friendships with.

We love the outdoors, walking, nature, traveling, meeting new people and a genuine love of animals. We are non smokers, active, clean, tidy, respectful, quiet, honest and would look after your home and cherished pets with love and care as if they were our own. Your garden too would be well looked after as Shaun is a keen gardener. Our house in Pymble has a large pool so can look after that as well. We can supply references and police checks.

With our house now sold in July 2023, we are ready to travel and housesit again!! ?

“I am beyond grateful to Kerry and Shaun for enabling me (along with my family) to enjoy our four week family holiday without worry, knowing our home and most importantly our beloved dog, Louie was being exceptionally well cared for. Communication was excellent throughout the process. We returned home to a very clean and tidy home, delicious dinner, dessert, bread and milk in the fridge which was such a blessing after our long haul flight. I truly cannot thank them enough!! ❤️❤️”

“Kerry and Shaun were amazing - from my first contact with them to my homecoming, They were great communicators and provided me with up-to-date photos of outings and cute snuggles with Digger. My dog was so well cared for and loved having them in the house, and all the amazing places he visited with them, as they explored my region. My house and garden were so well looked after - the house being spotless - better than I left it and they looked after all my plants and garden, leaving it mown and in great shape. I came home to a prepared meal, milk bread etc, so I did not have to do any shopping, the first day back from a very long flight home. I would highly recommend Shaun and Kerry and will certainly use them again, much to my dog's delight, I am sure.”

“Kerry and Shaun came to look after my home and poodle for three weeks whilst I was overseas. This was my first time using Mindahome and I certainly hit the jackpot. They were the most wonderful, delightful couple, who took great care of my doggo and home with absolute love, respect and commitment. I was updated with photos, videos and messages which left me being able to enjoy my time away without any concerns whatsoever. My dog was taken on daily walks, many outings and lots of play and loving attention. She was happy and relaxed on my return and although pleased to have me home, she was obviously sad to see them leave. The house was spotless and I arrived to freshly baked scones, with lunch and dinner prepared for me. If I could give ten stars I would. I can totally100% recommended Kerry and Shaun.”

“Kerry & Shaun were the most wonderful home and dog sitters we could have had! My partner and I had never had someone come into our home and couldn’t have chosen better people to look after our apartment and two dogs while we were away for 5 weeks! Our apartment was left spotless (even the windows were sparkling!), our plants were healthier than they were before we left and we also had a lovely dinner prepared for us in the fridge after our long flight! Our two dogs were extremely well cared for with Kerry making them boiled chicken throughout their stay! We kept in contact with Kerry & Shaun everyday and loved the pictures and messages they shared with us about their stay and our dogs as we were missing them dearly! We both couldn’t recommend this lovely couple more and hope to use them again! 5 stars ++++++++”
