“Fitted correctly on my Mini Myfair of 1991. Now wheels, specially front ones, are distant 10 cm more than before, when my cones were finished and totally smashed because of a 25 years use.
ok!”
“I have a 1997 last off the production line Rover Mini Cooper (I know, the body work on this model was shabby - I've had a mini since the 70s and the one I sold upon receipt of this from new was in great rust condition compared to the body work required to keep this tinker looking spruce!!!) After 19 years of low mileage driving it was evident the car was riding too low. My garage confirmed the suspension cones needed replacing. They were a pig to fit ( I have a garage background but was happy to leave this to a professional in the field) & initially it looked like someone had pimped my ride cos the mini sat up like a meercat and felt (comparatively!) like an SUV.
They are now settling in. Vehicle rides higher, as it should & I now realise suspension had been rubbish for ages.
Needs some miles to bed in to the correct sitting but more than happy with the product. Happy to recommend.”
