“2 kits were bought which came in 2 separate boxes marked MG ROVER. The contents were in polythene bags also marked MG ROVER and, to my surprise, "made in Turkey". In one box, however, the bag was inside a further unsealed and unmarked bag. At this stage I began to doubt the product's authenticity. My second doubt was upon finding some under diameter shims in one of the packs. Really I should have returned the items at this stage or at least voiced my concerns. Eager to fit the parts I found that all four domed nuts bottomed out before the swivel pins were tight so that instead of adding shims to achieve a proper fit I had to reduce the height of the nuts! I'm now left wondering if the parts, although now successfully fitted, were not OE and maybe they won't perform as well as OE would when the hubs are eventually fitted to the car.”
