This figure feature a baby wombat in it's backwards pouch, adding very realistic detail. Like all CollectA models, the wombat is completely hand-painted all over. Fun facts about the Australian animal: One distinctive adaptation of wombats is their backwards pouch. The advantage of a backwards-facing pouch is that when digging, the wombat does not gather soil in its pouch over its young.

“Although this is a small but well made model. It is the only model of a wombat I have seen with a joey. The joey's head is shown in the backward facing pouch near the wombat's back legs. Therefore it would be better if it were a larger model.”
