CollectA Thylacine Female Tasmanian Tiger Reviews

4.8 Rating 12 Reviews
Read MiniZoo Reviews

This unique model is sculpted with it's mouth wide open. The hand-painted markings and detail on this figurine are very high in quality and realism. It even has a baby in it's pouch! Fun facts about the mammal: The thylacine is likely to have become near-extinct in mainland Australia about 2,000 years ago, and possibly earlier in New Guinea. The absolute extinction is attributed to competition from indigenous humans and invasive dingoes. CollectA 88767 Thylacine Female Tasmanian Tiger, Released 2016. Approx: 11.2 x 1.7 x 4.8cm (LWH) Suitable for ages 3+. Made from PVC, painted with non-toxic acrylic paints.

Model is great, paint work is pretty detailed, could have been a little bit better but really nice. Eyes are just straight black so I redid them myself to make them more realistic which helps the model look better overall I think

Beautiful piece. This will be a collector's item. It's great that CollectA makes a (possibly) extinct Australian marsupial.

Details are slightly lacking but it is a very small figure and not many like it in the market

This is a beautiful figure. But i just wonder why it is made with the figure about to give birth. You can see the baby tail coming out of the womb.

Thanks for your review, Lewis! The figure is sculpted with the baby in its mother's pouch - like you would see with a kangaroo :)
