CollectA Grevys Zebra Reviews

4.9 Rating 7 Reviews
Read MiniZoo Reviews

This zebra figurine is sculpted in a walking pose, with his back foot lifted slightly off the ground. The attention to detail is very realistic with each stripe being individually hand-painted. Fun facts about the animal: The Grévy's zebra, also known as the imperial zebra, is the largest extant wild equid and the largest and most threatened of the three species of zebra, the other two being the plains zebra and the mountain zebra. Many experts consider Grevy's zebras to be striped asses that are not closely related to other zebras. CollectA 88773 Grevys Zebra, Released 2016. Approx: 12 x 3.5 x 8.5cm (LWH) Suitable for ages 3+. Made from PVC, painted with non-toxic acrylic paints.

Had to have him, a rare and bautifull Zebra.

The figure that I ordered came with severely deformed legs that had to be carefully fixed with a water treatment. It appears that the cardboard was turned sideways between the zebra's legs which pushed them out. He seems to be doing well now that his legs are fixed Overall I love him! The paint, while not the greatest in some spots is well done and I love the facial expression! I also love that CollectA actually made a unique model for the Grevy instead of just repainting a normal Plains zebra! Now if only I could find a Mountain Zebra!

I really love the face with very detailed stripes and muzzle, the mane, the big ears, the detailed tail, the back, the black mark on the belly, and all the detailed patterns. Such an amazing figurine.
