Allround, a good model—but with some minor issues. First, the good. The texture of the scales is great. Most dinosaurs have tiny scales which makes them difficult to add on models, but this one nails it. The anatomy is good, and the model is made of a dense, high-quality plastic. I love how sharp the plates and thagomizer are--especially when they typically dull them down for children. The colours are more dull in person, but it doesn’t take away from it for me personally—but know that the blue and pink will appear more as a greenish-teal and red. The face of the Stegosaurus is a little odd—the beak is not really defined well on the model, but this is probably a size thing. The paint quality is good, however, paint appears to be missing in some places—particularly in the skin folds. This is a small, but unpleasant, dark grey colour. Overall, it doesn't take away from it, but is noticeable up close. I’ve never bought from Haolonggood before, so I can’t say whether this is present across all of their models. I’m not a Stegosaurus person per se, but I couldn’t resist this colourful dude—and—despite some issues, it’s still a good model.

This is easily one of the very best Stegosaurus toys of all time. Very elegant and accurate with gorgeous colours. And the best part is it represents the lesser produced species of Stegosaurus ungulatus, which has only been done maybe once before (the old Battat one). So if PNSO did the best Stegosaurus stenops of all time, then Haolonggood wins the title of best S. ungulatus.
