“Always think about that old "Journey To The Centre Of The Earth" movie from the 1950's with James Mason (they used real iguanas!); this lizard has beautiful colours and details with the sail almost transparent! Really nice model, and a bit different.”
“Rigid model with a lovely form and beautiful sculpted details, especially around the belly. Colours have a good amount of artistic flair especially for Papo, though the unusual asymmetrical pattern on its sail may not be everyone's cup of tea. So far I think it's one of Papo's best. Around 17 cm in length.”
“If I had to pick my favorite mass-produced prehistoric animal model, this would probably be it. Great detail, colors, and pose. Papo really nails it most of the time, and this one is particularly good.”
“Gorgeous depiction of the 'Dimetrodon' pelycosaur. Although not a 'dinosaur' (it lived 50 million years or so before the dinosaurs), it does make a nice addition to the dinosaur line up from Papo. The skin texture is REALLY well done and the colours look plausible. The little 'bonus' of an opening jaw finishes off the model nicely (it looks great with or without the mouth open).”
