The Science and Nature Small Pelican model is an accurate sculpture of the impressive Australian sea bird. It is sculpted in a standing position and is painted almost entirely white, with black stripes around the edges of its wings and tail feathers. Its webbed feet are black, while its large beak is pink with a yellow tip and a cream beak pouch. “I have ordered a total of 6 Small Pelicans. They are sturdy, well made, detailed and anatomically accurate. The colours are also accurate. For reason that don’t matter, two of them have spent 7 months outside in the weather – which had no adverse effect on them. They remain as good as new!”
