Speedpaint helps make gaming minis get to the game board faster. They also work great for when you want to spend time making the mini display ready.

This provides a good range of colors to cover almost any basic need you may have. These work like a charm and easily let you bring a model up to a moderate standard with just a single layer of speed paint over a white or light gray primer.

I like the speed and easy process of painting minis with these paints. Fast, simple, with pretty nice results.

These are a good paint for models that have varying surface depth, but do not work well on flat surfaces. The paint appears very dark on the entire model with a black and white highlighted base primer. These should not be bought as your only paint set, but instead used together with your favorite acrylic mini paints. Overall, I like most of the colors, but quite a few of the colors (especially the yellows and lighters ones) have very little difference in appearance. I would recommend if you don't care about detail and just want to get an OK looking mini (from a distance) painted fast.

Listen, you're not going to win a competition with these. But that's not what they're for. If you want to paint a butt ton of minis in a short amount of time, this does a pretty darn good job. I'm not an expert painter, I get the basics of painting, but I don't have the time or patience to paint all my board game minis. This lets me knockout a couple of minis in an hour or so. If you're already a skilled painter, you could probably knock them out even faster. The colors aren't perfect, and you're probably not blending these (but maybe you could?) but it'll make table ready minis. There is a bit of reactivation if you try to paint over the speedpaints. Mostly something to be aware of, and you can use it to your advantage in some situations. For these pictures I primed in gray, highlighted in white, then applied the speed paints. Metals I went over with a metallic paint then added a wash, just to the metal bits. In a few instances (especially the water) I went back and applied a bit of highlighting after speedpainting.

If you search “Amry Painter Speedpaint” on you favorite streaming video site you will find quite a few overviews of this paint set. I am a really bad painter and followed the instructions on slap chopping and Zenithal highlighting and they turned out way better than I had ever done before. Absolutely with it.

Absolutely love this paint. Significantly cuts down on my painting time after a good zenithal prime. If you want to play more, definitely get this product

Great product but not all pigments are equal. Some colors are much more vibrant and perform better than others. Would recommend testing them out before going straight to painting with them
