I love this lovely engine building game. Well written rules, easy to understand game play with great depth. Unfortunately delivered missing pieces and a few broken tokens.

Furnance is a fun little engine builder that can even be played solo.

This game, like the title that I put together, brings together several ingredients that I am looking for is games of this weight. The mechanics fit wonderfully and the interaction at the table is very good. Highly recommended to play it to your maximum number of players.

Loved that the 2P variant was seamless to work with, and made the game a little less predictable.

If you're looking for an easy-entry engine builder, Furnace is a good choice. Set up and rules are simple enough that I would consider it an entry-level game. Gamers and non-gamers will likely enjoy it. Order of operations (what order you play your cards) can be a bit "crunchy" but accessible to most.

It's a game that combines an interesting bidding system along with engine building. The game is simple enough to learn and is a good medium between complexity and simple mechanics.

I've played this game about 4 or 5 times now with 2 players each time. I like it, but in most games I wish there was a 5th round. Perhaps with 3 or 4 players my opinion would change. The limited number of capitalist cards and start factories is worth noting. However, I expect that there will be an expansion to add additional cards here in the future. For my particular copy the cards were noticeably curved on arrival, but I pressed them flat and they appear to be good now. The printing on the large wooden auction tokens could be better (multiple tokens had smeared print for me). The most common complaint I have heard from the people I play with is that they are sad to see resources go to waste at the end of the game.
