“Definitely a favorite in the racing game genre! The mechanics are simple and intuitive, yet still lend themselves to exciting outcomes and frantic planning among players! Great game, nice artwork, good length and fun times! The box insert is handy too. You can fit the expansion inside with no issue beyond very slight lid lift.”

“After having heard so many positive reviews of this game, I was prepared to possibly be a little disappointed. That was not the case at all! I wanted it in my collection to add a type of game that I did not have yet. I wasn't sure how my wife would like it, but we both love it. I especially appreciate how easy it is to add the automa style racing cars (called Legends in the rulebook) in the mix. It definitely is best with more players than 2, but we can play 2-player and add up to 4 other cars in the race. This makes the race much more interactive, so to speak. The Legends are very easy to manage, but do a good job of imitating movement that a real player might make in the race. I highly recommend this game! There is not a problem with a lot of down time. You easily stay engaged throughout the game. The variability from game to game is fantastic due to having 4 diffferent race courses and lots of different upgrade cards that allow for assymetric game play. It is a great solo game, also. Loads of fun!”

“HEAT is the penultimate racing game, it's fast, hot, and super fun! It plays up to 6 players or 7 with the expansion! Highly recommended for anyone who likes racing or board games.”

“The game is great, but my copy came with some miscut cards. Days of wonder/asmodee does not offer replacement pieces, and I didn't want to hassle myself and miniaturemarket over the "correct" process of returning the whole game and getting a new copy, just for the sake of 11 cards.”
