“It was very easy to learn the base game, and we were pleasantly surprised with how much additional features there were after the base game! We're only a week in, but we've already played it several times as a 2-player game and are looking forward to the more advanced mechanics. This will also be a great game for us to play with additional players. The box looks great also - looks kinda like an engine haha”

“Ala BGG Fast, fun, tense, simple to play, feels racey. My opinion of this game goes up every time I play it. Bots are great and so easy to update there's never a reason to not play with a full field. Except... sometimes just doing the race as a time trial kind of thing is fun too. The hand management aspect is really enjoyable when you are planning 2 corners ahead. Great game, great intro to gaming. Chef's kiss.”

“This is one of the best games of the year! Heat has interesting decisions every turn, constantly considering every option, every move, trying to predict other players and make the best with your turn. As far as a racing game goes, this has it all. The base game has a ton of content, between basic upgrades, advanced, tournaments, maps, and then weather! You have so much use in the main box, on top of there being an expansion available. My favorite aspect of this game is trying to predict each players moves in hopes of slipstreaming in to optimal position. Each turn has so many options, but non that are too overwhelming. It has an incredible balance of strategy and tactics, allowing players to plan and react to the game. It doesn’t have every detail of a race car and racing, but it’s simple yet complex approach to a race is very well done. Overall, the game is fast moving, fun, incredibly tense in the final laps, but most of all, the table all has a great time no matter the outcome of the race. This game has everything you want in a game, and does everything I want in a racing game. Official score= 9.5/10 Definitely a first place finish”

“This game is so much fun! From the start, it is a quick game to pick up and fun to play with a group. I also like to play solo and this game is just as good solo. As I play more races, I have added all the modules and weather, which complement the game very well. They are thought out additions that really add to the game. I even played through one of the seasons, which is this games version of a campaign. It was so much fun and intense. It really came down to the last race to see who would win the season. I found myself getting authentically excited to see who would win! This is a fantastic game and now one of my favorites!”

“What can I say about Heat that hasn't been already? The gameplay is "easy to learn, hard to master." You could teach this game to a child and have them play compitently. The cardplay in this game is so good that I even enjoy playing it by myself. The amount of content in the game is fantastic. Aside from the basic multiplayer racing, they've included: Automated drivers Card drafting for slightly custom decks that make a big difference A grand prix mode A weather module that modifies the track slightly Two double sided boards, each with two unique tracks. It's choc-full of content, seats six players and even plays quickly. It's great! My only complaint is that there aren't too many opportunities to interact with your opponents (at least not in my experience). But when you do it changes the landscape of the entire race.”

“Ready to pick up and a lot of fun. My friends and I have played a few times and there is a lot of depth in the case game. Very fun and relatable. Get a good squad and you'll have a great time.”
