I Love racing car games, and this is one of the bests.

For the price, you get a lot of ways to play. Heat comes with two double-sided boards for a total of four tracks to challenge. Plus, there is an AI opponent system to play solo or fill out the roster of competitors in a low-player count game. There's also a track condition system to make even multiple races on the same track feel different. There is also a card drafting system to customize your deck for each race. Even at its most complex, the rules should be easy enough to learn throughout the first few turns, though it can be fun even stripped down to the most basic rules for new players.

Unique gameplay. Easy to learn but has a lot of strategies for you to master! Awesome deck management mechanic.

Would totaly recommend! I had a ton of hype about this game and it did not dissapoint. The production quality is awesome. The fact that it has an advanced mode makes you see the care put into the game. Advanced play, legends and cup mode feel like mini-expansions. The only negative point I see is that the box insert has some empty spaces (I assume is for an upcoming expansion) but the gameplay was a blast for me and my group. Also cool car minis are cool.

I haven't opened this copy yet however as I had another on order that arrive before but I can say that the game plays great and keeps most everyone in the action without feeling in a hopeless situation like some other racing games.

At first, the premise of moving race cars around a track seemed like a game geared for a 5 year old. However, the 5 star reviews and sold out status convinced me to take a chance. By the way, Minature Market promptly notified me when a copy was available and offered a great price. Anyways, this game, when played with all the options, is a new favorite in our collection. Quick (60 min), nuanced, and exciting. Fully loaded with 4 tracks, weather issues, and car modifications. I love the tension of risking a spin out on the final two turns in order to take the lead. Even gear shifting creates a more than subtle impact when coming through turns. Every small mistake forces you to drive smarter and riskier if you don't want to be left behind. The play is tight and well thought out. The A.I. cars provide excellent competition to the track. Finally, the uniqueness of the game satisfies the desire for "something different".

For some the game might seem confusing at first but it’s much simpler than it looks. Has become my new favorite game. Family enjoys the game as well. Different kind of concept from our other games.
