“This game is a racing game, so you will be doing a lot of the same thing, over and over. You are racing laps around a track after all. Now assuming you expect that, this game is awesome. While you're always trying to push your car as fast as possible to reach and go through each corner, conditions are always changing. Your relative position, how you've managed heat in your engine, track conditions, and how you cycle through your deck all give you plenty of agency to control your race, while still leaving room to push your luck for some extra excitement. The game is easy enough to teach to non-gamers, while still having enough depth to keep gamers engaged. The multiple tracks and modules that ship with the game, as well and plenty of fan made content ensures there will be plenty of replayability. Turns are fast, so there is little downtime for people to become disengaged. If you're a fan of racing and/or hand management (and a bit of deck building), I'd highly recommend trying this game.”

“While at first glance, there seems to be little variance. After a few rounds, strategies begin to emerge, and I never had the feeling that I was ever out of the running for first place. The hype around the game is certainly warranted, and this is a great game at all listed player counts. The added bonus of being able to play with modified decks/cards (all included in the box) and solo play makes this a great value and ensures this will remain in my collection.”

“This game is really cool. The hand management element is done well and it makes you think a bit ahead as far as setting up your cards and your gear for maximum effect. It's not a complex game by any stretch, but the modules that have been packed into the base game can add some complexity (and fun) to any game session. This game is primed for expansion after expansion. If you get it and wear out the base game, no doubt there will be new content for it sooner rather than later.”
