A steep learning curve for someone not exposed to advanced rules in something like Dungeons & Dragons. The instructions are pretty good. Tons of additional resources you can find online. Not an easy game to win even on easy mode, but very fun.

Played twice so far and I must say it's fun, challenging, and immersive. Prefer this to Lord of the Rings LCG.

Low cost entry into the world of AH. That being said, if you want to play with 4 people, you'll need two: consider getting the revised set which makes initial setup easier and has the cards for 4

It’s a fantastic rule set with a great design. If you’re a fan of Cthulhu you’ll like this.

Played this once remotely with friends who owned the base game, but I didn't, so I used an online resource to represent my deck and character. Loved it and knew I needed my own copy at some point. Can't wait to play again!

I picked this game up on sale from MM at the start of the year, and it almost immediately became one of my favorite games. It pulls off so much in terms of creating atmosphere, telling a compelling story, and engaging your brain that I can only tip my hat to the creators. It also pulls off the trick that Dark Souls/Bloodborne do in video games of being super difficult yet making you want to come back at it again rather than giving up. I think it's the best of FF's LCG games by a decent length, and I like the others a lot. If you like Lovecraft, cosmic horror, deck-building, strategy, co-op games, or even just a real challenge, you'll probably like this one too.

Careful! If you try y this, you might end up buying tens of expansions! This box offers only a glimpse of the game system and its possibilities, but it was enough to get me hooked
