This is like many other LCG games that I have played from fantasy flight. Though, I do love the Co-op nature of it. I had to buy two core sets to get all the cards needed which they do fix in a later release, but this one was on sale and couldn't pass up.

I bought this on sale because I wanted to try out arkham horror but didn't want to jump on the revised set incase I didn't like this. Well... it's a great deck building game with such a cool system for story progression and skill tests. My son and I ended up finishing the first scenario in about an hour and decided we should buy more expansions now. Lol. Probably get the revised edition too or just another legacy core set. The story itself is awesome and changes depending on the way you play and choices you make in game.

Item arrived in great conditions and still in shrinkwrap.

Inexpensive, but you'll need at least two copies. Not much horror, just a standard complicated FFG game. The game only has a short adventure, so you'll need to spend $40+ on a campaign set.

I got 2 for $12 total on sale which is all I needed for a basic play set. It does mean half the cards are unused spares but there is almost a full set of cards for all 5 investigators to build decks.

Missing a few cards from the updated version and you need two core sets, but this game is still great!

The Arkham LCG is excellent, and as well thought out as Fantasy Flights Lord of the Rings LCG. As the senarios progress, one always feels on the verge of disaster. Easy recommendation. Note that there is a updated version of this game, and that would be the best place to start. Though, you might find this original set for cheap.
