This is an add-on to the core set.

My AH LCG collection is admittedly pretty basic, so Cho added a lot of cool new cards. Plus he is a strong new hero in my favorite class. More cards, more punches, more fun!

Cho is a bit of a silly, 1-dimensional character--all he does is punch stuff. That said, he punches REALLY hard, and his attack combos can be a lot of fun to pull off. Beating the ghoul priest into submission without breaking a sweat will make any new player smile compared to the difficulty the very first boss of the game can pose to other starting investigators. His cards are also generally useful for diversifying any Guardian deck.

Cho is great, all about building combos. Sometimes you can play like 10 cards within a single action

Full of new cards and new levels of old cards plus a unique investigator, each of these starter decks is well worth the purchase for the exclusive cards alone. The fact that they’re prebuilt into functioning decks is just the cherry on top.

Nathaniel Cho is a great starter pack for Arkham Horror: The Card Game (AH). I got this to supplement my game and it's great! This investigator DOES NOT appear in any other AH product and has cards that can be used in other decks. Note: This pack has NO extra neutral cards other than 1 basic weakness.

I bought the investigator expansions to supplement my Core Box investigator card pool. To that end, they did the trick nicely! Every single card is within the class, with no neutral or cross-class cards. So if you're like me and looking to add to your deck construction options, you'll probably want to get all 5 class boxes.
