OH YES, if you like Outer Rim but grew bored of the same cards now you get DOUBLE the cards, double the ships, double the characters, double the tokens. AND!!!!! light speed to jump from end to end without having to travel all the way back and forth. Light Speed to slow? You're going to have to go Ludicrous Speed because this is what the expansion add. Buy it if you have Outer Rim, if you don't have Outer Rim buy it but ADD the expansion.

Great content in the expansion. it introduces some new mechanics, expands the AI capabilities, and gives additional cards for every single deck in the game. It also gives additional cards to familiar jobs, that way you can't just expect the same sequence when you find a job you've completed in a previous play-through. Probably the best part is all the new playable characters. The pool is almost doubled. I definitely recommend this expansion if you like the base game!

The expansion adds more of what we love about Outer Rim. More charachters, more ships, more encounters, what's not to love? It increases replayability exponentially. Being able to travel through the Core worlds to get to the other side of the Outer Rim opens up new possibilities of gameplay. Adding Ambitions to the game helped give goal-oriented players a nice strategic outline to direct their decisions in what is normally an open sandbox game. Just Amazing.

Easy review - if there is an essential expansion to any game, this might be it. Adds variety and more content, and the core worlds really open up your options of which jobs and charge to take. Base game is great on its own to get a feel for the game, but if you enjoy that this is an easy addition. Everything easily fits in the core game box as well.

This is a must have for outer rim. Outer rim is a great game but light on content. This fixes that and adds some great new mechanics.

So to start "Star Wars: The Outer Rim" is quickly becoming one of my favorite board games to play, be it by myself or with three other players and the "Unfinished Business Expansion" adds more of everything doubling the size of all the encounter and market decks as well as doubling the number of playable characters. With the expansion added The Outer feels more like a full game and less a movie trailer and the new play mechanics act more like errata's or mods to the current rules rather than game-changing, breaking or additional play time. So would I recommend this expansion? Yes I would and have which gives my play group three players that own both the main and expansion and we're working on the other two.

I really like the extra cards and optional rules in this expansion. Especially the way to shortcut through the core worlds to get from one end of the arc to the other. I really wish they had expanded the number of players above 4.

The expansion adds enough cards to double the amount of cards in the game. Players are now encounters themselves. Really good addition to the game.
