“First of all, the game plays quick for a 4X game. Maybe an hour and a half, 2 hours if you nitpick. Most of the play is simultaneous which has that real-time strategy feel. The game starts as expansion, but quickly delves into fighting off opponents for space and light. I'm very much enjoying it!”

“I’ve played Last Light with six players and greatly enjoyed it. It did take about three hours to play but that’s with two extra players and learning the game. I enjoyed the mechanics of the rotating boards and multiple ways to win, but the simultaneous play of the game isn’t quite as simultaneous as suggested since turn order can matter in certain situations. The game itself is made well and the deluxe components only enhance gameplay.”

“Last light is a fun, competitive, strategic game where everyone is racing to score 20points. Gameplay is fast as all players are making moves at the same time. Pretty easy game to learn. Game presentation is amazing. The only downside is the extractors are tiny and the purple medium ships are hard to distinguish from the small ships.”
