Very fun game! I loved wingspan, and this is a cool twist on a similar engine building style of game. Love the theme

This game was a lot tighter than Wingspan in my opinion which is a good thing! Both games are amazing but I felt like this one made me focus a bit more on what I was trying to accomplish.

One of our new favorite games to play! It’s a great take on the classic Wingspan, but with dragons! All parts are inside the box in ziploc bags, and I wish the had some organizers in it. I’m planning to 3D print a few

I love this game. Similar to what I like in Wingspan (competitive without being directly aggressive, beautiful interesting cards, and highly variable goals) but different enough that I strongly recommend trying it out. I was skeptical if we really needed a another game so similar -- I was wrong. It is great and IMO, better. My only complaint is that the facts have been removed from the cards and are in a separate booklet. It does allow for a larger font for folks that struggled. Unfortunately, I don't think it's practical to reference a booklet during game so I find myself ignoring it all together. All of that aside, it is a fantastic game and you should check it out!

A very solid upgrade of Wingspan. The one complaint people seem to have is that it complicates a fairly simple game(Wingspan). I feel like that's a positive, but if you aren't playing it with hardcore gaming types, they might lose track of things.

When I played Wyrmspan, I was concerned it was going to be a simple reskinning of Wingspan. But, I was pleased that despite the familiar mechanics, the strategy differed enough that I could enjoy both games in different ways. The cards and game board present just enough variance that force the player to think about their strategy differently. (And the art is beautiful) The challenge in Wyrmspan compared to its counterpart is the scarcity of resources bottlenecking your early momentum, which could potentially be a frustration for newer players. If you're teaching this game to new players, address that challenge early on so they can start thinking about it before they make their first moves! Also, you get dragons, so. That's rad.
