Hive pocket is the very same wonderful game we all love, but in a compact version. With all its pieces in a portable small cloth bag, this game can provide fun just about anywhere! This edition includes two bonus pieces, the Mosquito and the Ladybug expansions to the game which provide additional hours of fun! The object: To surround your opponent's queen bee while trying to block your opponents from doing the same. Each player has 13 tiles; representing different insects. “Was concerned about ordering this game, especially considering the "beetle bomb" technique which I accidentally discovered while playing online. Despite this, my girlfriend and I have fun taking this in its travel bag and hitting up a local bar or friend's place for one-on-one action.”

“Slightly larger than expected but still extremely portable and durability of components is a huge plus. Awesome to often have this head to head puzzle nearby, especially when short on time or on the move.”

“One of the best modern games to invite a spouse, a grandma or even that curious friend in the ludic side of the force. The rules are simple, the game is short but engaging and the components are waterproof (you couldn't say that about many games) and resistant to pets and little children. I strongly recommend this one to anyone that plays games for two.”
