Hive pocket is the very same wonderful game we all love, but in a compact version. With all its pieces in a portable small cloth bag, this game can provide fun just about anywhere! This edition includes two bonus pieces, the Mosquito and the Ladybug expansions to the game which provide additional hours of fun! The object: To surround your opponent's queen bee while trying to block your opponents from doing the same. Each player has 13 tiles; representing different insects. “About as deep as a game of this size could be. Easy to learn, challenging for veterans. The pocket version can be taken anywhere and played on any flat surface with no set up. It also comes with 2 expansions, which is nice.”

“Whether you have the regular size version or just want to get a nice travel games this one is a lot of fun. My wife and I love this game but I think she loves it more since she usually beats me. A lot of strategy in this game. Its sorta like chess but with bugs. Each bug has its own unique movement like a chess piece. Fairly simple to learn but a lot of strategy involved. A very good thinking game. I would recommend it.”

“Very portable, good quality of the components and that´s it, nothing more, nothing less. That´s all you need to play this wonderful game, I don´t like chess nor abstract games, I always prefer miniatures, colorful games like Axis and Allies or War of the Ring, those are my kind of games but... I really enjoy playing this game. You keep sending bugs into the board in order to protect your beloved queen. Every bug has its own ability to move, the game ends when a queen is completely surrounded by the oponnent. This set comes with bonus bugs so it makes it more attractive to buy.”
