Excellent detail! The clear eye covering is a huge point towards realism, and having different eyestalk attachments for attacks is genius.

My 8 year old has been asking for a Beholder mini all year, and none of our local shops happened to have one. This one is perfect. It's got plenty of detail and a properly devious expression. He's going to get it in his Christmas stocking and I can't wait to see how he paints it.

This came in the mail exactly like it was in the picture. It is better than a prepainted Beholder because you can use your imagination to decide what it looks like and customize it yourself. I did not use the eye rays that it comes with but I could see how it would be fun to have them attached.

Outstanding detail and very little clean up needed to get rid of the mould lines before painting.

A very good model that is easy to paint and offers a good amount of personal design opportunities. I did not care for the spare eye stalks with attached power elements, as they seemed too gaudy in design. The clear lens to place over the eye was also not very useful as it is not very clear and hides a lot of details you may paint into the main eye, which is essential for a Beholder. I left that out and coated the high in a high-gloss varnish and had excellent results with it. Overall, the model is perfect for any D&D game with a Beholder, and one does not need to be a professional painter to achieve good results in painting it.

I was surprised to see that the Beholder comes with extra eyestalks that can be interchanged to show it blasting its eye rays at your PCs!
