“If you already have Pandemic and love it enough to want a travel-size version, this might be an okay purchase, though they stripped out some of the mechanics. If you don't already have Pandemic and are on the fence, this might be an okay purchase to get a feel for the full game for less than half the price. Bear in mind this is not an expansion and is not compatible with anything other than other Hot Zone products.”

“This is much quicker to explain, set up, and play than the original Pandemic. If you're introducing non-gamers to the game, this is a great place to start!”

“This game is almost exactly the same as Pandemic, but has a smaller box, a smaller board, and plays more quickly. Gameplay is identical, with one or two minor rule changes, and fewer diseases to cure. Like the Ticket to Ride small box games, it does an excellent job of turning a great gateway game into a snappier experience that allows it to even be "filler" (in a good way).”

“The mini Pandemic Hot Zone game was high quality. Since this is a mini version of the full Pandemic game, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised. The product is well made, and high quality. It retains the fun of the original game, but is quicker to play!”

“Pandemic: Hot Zone – North America is a fantastic game that I and my 8.5-year-old like. It strikes a great balance between accessibility and challenge. It has cooperative gameplay, is focused on battling deadly diseases in North America, and keeps the tension high while promoting teamwork. This portable version of Pandemic offers a shorter gaming experience (about 30 min), but the only minor drawback is the small-sized cards. Overall, it's a must-try for both new and seasoned gamers, delivering an enjoyable and engaging experience.”
