A fully functional and free disk partitioning tool without any trickery, and it\'s not a free trial - it is a full free application. Did things that the Windows partitioning tools refused to, and I recommend you to download.

Moved yesterday my Windows 10 system partition vom SATA HDD to SATA SSD and am 100% happy. The tool was easy to use, did exactly what I needed and showed no errors. Even that my target SSD was smaller than my host HDD was no problem (1TB vs. 128 GB, I don\'t have much data on it). Perfect. Thanks.

I had tried everything to defragment a 40GB HDD on an old XP laptop but despite the drive only being half full, I was still left with 23% fragmentation and without a single contiguous \"free\" block as large as 1GB. I decided to use a novel approach and disabled the pagefile which was itself in six fragments, then ran a defrag again. Still nothing spectacular occurred. 17% fragmentation was the best I got and still scattered all over the disk. Then came the eureka moment; I used your partition wizard to shrink the primary partition by 10GB and defragged again. 13% fragmentation. Shrinking the partition again to 20GB \"crashed\" MTPW - no detrimental effect on the integrity of the system and probably crashed because MTPW would only have had 4GB in which to perform its magic. Shrinking the partition to 24GB worked and another defrag gave me 9% fragmentation. I then \"stretched\" the partition back to the entire 40GB, reactivated and increased the size of the pagefile and I now have 4% fragmentation, one contiguous pagefile and all that clean \"real estate\" in the 19GB contiguous \"end-zone\".

I put a new SSD into my laptop with 2 partitions (C: system & D: data). I\'ve \"aligned\" the D: partition using MiniTool 9.1 sometime ago. Today, I checked the alignment of all partitions using Windows \"msinfo32\". The first partition (C: drive): Partition starting offset of Disk #0, Partition #0 is 1,048,576 bytes. It is dividable by 4096; and MiniTool also shows no alignment is needed. However, the second partition: Partition starting offset of Disk #0, Partition #1 (D: drive) is 128,813,335,040 bytes. It is NOT dividable by 4096. Yet, MiniTool still show no alignment is needed. There is clearly a problem with the MiniTool. I also have a new SSD in my desktop, and used Samsung Magician to clone the HDD to the SSD using its build-in partition adjustment. The partition alignment of C: and D: drives does not have this problem. Please help with a fix.

This is waste and cheating s/w. It says you can do all activity in free but never allow to do anything. It asks to pay 40$. Why do you show as FREE when we have to pay for everything. You ask to PAY at first, we dont mind. Its cheap marketing trick.

Many functions are available on Free version. In addition Free version and Full version have no difference in function. But there are some limits in Free version. Please refer to this post: https://www.partitionwizard.com/comparison.html
