Sorry for the confusion which has caused you.
Our hormone fluctuates from woman to woman and cycles to cycle. The pattern of the curve is more important than the absolute value. When ovulation happens, you should see a sudden increase in LH concentrations, although the peak value can vary greatly. To clarify, even if the LH levels are “low” but there is a sizable increase of the LH level, one can still be ovulating.
Our E3G level fluctuates from woman to woman and cycles to cycle. Generally, it will be around 10-100 during the follicular phase and rise to 100-640+ when close to ovulation. Because of the self-regulating effect of estrogen, the rise of E3G when close to ovulation is fluctuating. The Estrogen surge is normally 1-3 days earlier than the LH one. Meanwhile, the Estrogen peak is normally 0-2 days earlier than the LH one.
After the ovulation, the E3G level will drop, and then there will be another surge in the luteal phase, which means your body is entering the non-fertile period.

“Good so far. I’ve only been using the Mira for 3 days and in that time one of the test wands didn’t work which is disappointing. But it’s amazing to see accurate LH and Estrogen levels and much easier to read than over the counter ovulation test strips.”
We are sorry about your experience and it is not what Mira wants you to have! We completely understand how frustrating it can be. Please trust that it is our goal to help women to go through their fertility journey smoother and easier, so we are here to help and improve your experience. We are working hard to improve our products and service now. We believe there is something wrong with the specific box of test wand you have. There are several factors that could affect the stability of the test wands. Since it is basically a chemical assay, shipping conditions such as extreme temperature or humidity could affect it. Please kindly contact us via email at support@miracare.com. We are willing to compensate you for the wasted wand.
Thanks for you are willing to try Mira. Mira measures hormones to detect and predict ovulation. In contrast to OPK, Mira uses lab-graded technology which gives you your actual hormone levels, while OPK only does a "one line" vs. "two lines" estimation. Mira's AI learns your cycle, providing personalized ovulation prediction even for variable cycles. Your cycle information is automatically synced and analyzed by Mira, so you don't need to do any manual charting! Other OPK's detect ovulation off a static baseline LH. But every woman is different. So, it often leads to false positives or missed peaks, especially if you have variable or irregular cycles. OPK’s also can’t learn your cycle over time.
“So far so great. I have always had issues with figuring out when I’m ovulating just because I have PCOS. I had used every single way to try and track my ovulation no other app or doctor has been able to pin point when I’m fertile.”
Thanks for sharing! Many women with PCOS use Mira to track their cycles and successfully get pregnant along the way! Unlike all other OPK's, Mira lets you see your actual hormone concentrations. Those with PCOS will know that with this condition, elevated LH is common! OPK will inaccurately reflect a positive all the time. But with Mira, you can see your actual hormone levels and curve, and still see your ovulation even if your baseline LH is high. We wish you the best of luck in your fertility journey!
Thanks for your support, we are happy to hear that you think it’s worth buying Mira. It is our goal to help women to go through their fertility journey smoother and easier.
