Very happy with the HTC 10. Tried an iPhone contract last time and it's fair to say I won't be buying anything but HTCs in future!

Wow, what a phone! I've had this phone for a few weeks now and so glad I stuck with HTC! The display is brilliantly sharp, the camera is excellent with lots of features like 4k video, Hyperlapse video, slow motion, etc. Doing anything on the phone is super quick. I love HTC's Sense UI, I find it works well alongside Android and is very intuitive (easier than Samsung's Touchwiz in my opinion). This phone uses a USB-C connector and also benefits from having Quick Charge 3 technology. This means it will charge from 1% to 100% in 1h 40mins (I've timed it) and will have charged a good way within a hour. Please note that I (and so do others online) advise you don't use any other cheap Quick Charge chargers or cheap USB-C cables, everything you need is supplied in the box. This is due to the higher temperatures needed for quick charging. I believe you can use a standard USB 5v charger with the USB-C cable but you won't get the benefit of quicker charging. This phone also features a fingerprint sensor which will unlock your phone screen within a second and various fingers can be scanned in (just in case you lose one). As a back up, a PIN can also be set up to unlock it. Another good feature is HTC Themes - hundreds to download to change the look of your phone's icons and typefaces as well as create your own. So if you're like me and think iPhones are a bit too pricey and fancy something different to your mate's Samsung or LG, then definitely go and look at this in a shop

Fantastic phone, one of the best on the market right now in my opinion. It looks fantastic with the dark matte metallic finish on the back and chamfered edge. It's a good size too, I'm able to hold it comfortably in one hand while operating it and the additional thickness (a couple of mm) and weight give it a premium feel. HTC have dropped the black bar that held the logo on the front and have been incredibly subtle with their branding on the back giving the phone a much classier look. In terms of functionality the phone has all the bells and whistles of a modern flagship, NFC, Android 6.0 and a highly responsive fingerprint sensor. The camera is pretty good too, not the best on the market but more than good enough for most uses with a decent set of manual tweaks and options to really maximise photo quality. It does far better in daylight than dim light but that's par for the course with most smartphone cameras. HTC's sense OS is smooth and lightweight as always, enhancing stock Android rather than rebuilding it. This year they added some nice touches like removing all superfluous duplicate apps and adding freeform themes allowing you a lot more freedom in customising your home screen. Only downsides are the battery life is fairly average with it just about lasting a day with heavy use, something my old HTC One M8 could handle with ease. The quick charging is also a little temperamental with it sometimes deciding to arbitrarily slow charge instead or not charge at all. This is easily fixed by unplugging it and plugging it in again so it could be the charger itself but just something to be aware of. Overall the HTC 10 is an excellent phone that easily competes with Apple and Samsung and in my opinion, does it better in a lot of respects. I'd strongly recommend you get your hands on one and try it out before purchasing one of the bigger, more expensive brands, you'll be surprised at how little difference there is outside of their marketing budgets. A great return to form for HTC and hopefully a sign of things to come.

Great phone, with the exception of battery life, which is no better than my old M8. Lovely metal case, and the camera is superb.

The only phone I have been waiting for for some time and does not disappoint. There may be other phones with slightly better hardware in some areas but I primarily bought this phone for the build quality and look. In addition I ordered this Sunday lunchtime and it was delivered on the Monday! Outstanding service there.

Great handset, amazingly responsive and fast opening / switching apps. Clicking the camera button and the picture taking is quick which y last HTC wasnt so quick to do. Overall if i had the choice again, i would still pick this handset.
