“I love the iPhone XR. Having previously an iPhone 6 I knew how to use it right away. Only thing that is very frustrating is not being able to charge and put your headphones in at the same time. Didn’t think it would bother me that much as you can buy a splitter from amazon but they don’t work 90% of the time. I bought the headphone adapter from apple and when I call people they complain they can’t hear me as it’s too muffled so problem with the splitter aswell.
Overall the service with mobile.co.uk was excellent. Mobiles.co.uk are absolutely amazing. At first I was a bit hesitant using this website because my sister said that if there’s any problems with your phone, it’s hard to contact them- but if I had any problems with the phone I would go Apple store so I ignored her. The day before Black Friday I bought an iPhone xr with an o2 tariff. When Black Friday came, a much better deal came along on Vodafone. I called the customer service line and said I wanted to exchange the deal. At first she said I had to return the handset even though it’s for the exact same phone but then later said I can keep it and start using it. Later that day I received a phone call from mobile I believe from someone called Rebecca. She was absolutely lovely and she confirmed the deal I wanted and explained that she was processing the deal for Vodafone right now and would send me a text to confirm it once the credit check is done. She also said she would send my sim by dpd so I get it quicker. 5mins later I get a text to say my sim is on its way. Now on Saturday, my sim comes and I get a phone call from mobiles again to process my refund as the o2 deal had a £175 upfront cost but the Vodafone deal had no upfront cost. I was told I would get a call Monday or Tuesday but the lady told me that because of the demand for Black Friday, they’re catching up with it on the weekend. That was perfect as it meant I got my money quicker. Lastly I asked her if everything was set up right and the direct debit was in place as I hadn’t received any emails from Vodafone. She said it has but to contact Vodafone as they should have sent it by now, but as it was the weekend it wasn’t a working day and that it could be processed mon/tues. Contacted Vodafone and they confirmed everything was fine and set up. Did have an issue with my mobile data not working but advisor from Vodafone sorted that out quickly aswell
So had a pleasant experience shopping with mobiles.co.uk, would recommend them 100%. Any slight problems I had were quickly resolved no problem and mobiles made this process as simple and as quick as can be as everything they sent to me was sent next day delivery”
“Debated between the Xs, X and Xr but went with the Xr in the end as it is much cheaper, however you would never know! Brilliant phone and would definitely recommend if you’re looking to spend less but still want a great phone. Thicker bezzel and no 3D Touch is in no way a problem, you don’t even realise they are there/missing.”
“Upgraded from the iPhone 6s and this is so many times better! Rather than having to fully charge at lunch, this only uses 1/3 of it battery for the whole day and night! Reception is better, screen is awesome. Cameras are great and so is the Face ID. Only thing I need to get used to is the extra size and weight! Risked the coral colour and love it.”
