“Very happy with my XZ3. Been a Sony xperia fan for a while and glad to see the look and feel get an update to go along with the tech. The screen is fantastic, both in resolution and colour. The camera is very good. Most pics I've taken with front and main camera have turned out very well. Super slo-mo is a nice feature for a bit of fun, but quality is far lower than normal recording (indoors at least) and only captures 1sec at a time. Android pie is a subtle update, for the way I use my phone, but general quality of life functions are nice. Side sense is a pain so far and triggers falsely often. I don't think it's much quicker than swiping to the side to see more apps, where I place my most used ones.
Footnote; the colour of the phone back (mine is "green") is no where near as apparent as the pictures on the website. It's off black at best from most angles unless caught at the right angle in the right light. This isn't a negative point, I really like the subtlety of the paint job, but I did choose my colour based on the pictures.”
