“My screen went blank after only four days,this was on Friday eveningWent on HTC web site it told me that it needed to be repaired. Went on mobiles.co.uk web site couldn't contact the advisors until Monday as I was at work all day Saturday .the live web chat wasn't working either. Contacted mobiles.co.uk on Monday arranged for a replacement phone. However mine had to be returned first which was arranged for the next day I was told I would receive an email with an hour slot of expected arrival time ....I did not receive one waited in all day eventually it was collected at 4.45. I expected to recive a replacement phone by Friday, sent a email about it on Friday,I received a email on Friday evening saying my phone would be arriving on Monday. I had been ten days without a phone which I was still paying for.No compensation or apology was offered for the delay. So not a very happy customer :(.”
“Great cheaper alternative to expensive iPhones and Samsung's. The android software is great. Easy to manoeuvre. Only downside is message and ringtones not the best.”
“This is definitely a good looking handset but it isn't perfect. The shiny blue back cover is a magnet for fingerprints and scratches as several other forums have stated. The most infuriating aspect of the phone is the jingle when you boot up. Despite loading up the phone with bloatware, HTC hadn't the forsight to add a facility in the volume settings to mute this annoying noise.
Overall, for the price and the market position at which it was aimed, it is a good phone. It would have been even better with a 1280 x 720 screen resolution like its biggest competitor- Moto G. It has to make do with a 960 x 540 screen. Overall I am happy with the selection and Mobiles.co.Uk, the supplier, couldn't do enough to help me- they were excellent.”
