“This is a lovely phone. The screen is brilliant, camera is amazing and the software/user interface is great. The difference with the camera is that I no longer have to take 10 photos to pick the best one. I take one and the photo goes from average to perfect in front of your eyes whilst the camera software does its thing. Negatives: I don't consider myself a power user and the battery is”
“The GPS makes using anything applicable absolutely pointless. Doesn't pinpoint you anywhere near where you actually are, even though it says high accuracy in the setttings”
“Fast, however feels like a down grade from the pixel 2 (which is a very bad sign) . The loss of the finger print if is annoying, factual recognision is ok but can be annoying if you don't want to unlock your phone. Also facial recognition doesn't work with a lot of apps including banking apps.”
“Just 'upgraded' from a Pixel 2 and what a downgrade it is. Why do manufacturers change things that do not require changing. The UI is now awful. Although it looks the same, the navigation is frustrating as hell. I can't see any performance upgrade with it either. And the worst thing now is the lack of fingerprint scanner. It's now facial recognition...fine if all the apps work with it, which hardly any do. I often use my phone to check the time, but now when I do, I unlock the phone! It's all a step backward for me.”
