“Phone itself is fine and I have no issues with it, however, I still do not have a useable contract, as my previous contract was with vodafone, and unfortunately there is no information given when ordering my new contract that you cannot port an existing number to the same network provider (vodafone), you can only transfer your existing number to a new provider. This strikes me as absolutely nuts. I appreciate this is a network provider decision not yours as a third-party provider, however, there was absolutely no information stating this on the purchasing section of your web site, it was only contained in the small print on guide to transferring a number - by this stage it was too late, and I had already received my new phone. To keep my old number, I have now had to port to another PAYG sim on a different network, before transferring back to Vodafone as a new customer – what a ridiculous situation and certainly no way to reward customer loyalty.”
