“It is a month later and I am still not set up on the phone....
I wish i was giving a good review since it was such a good deal! but I guess it doesn't always turn out like that....
The handset works perfectly fine and received on time, however my sim did not work after the 48 hours it stated, the website stated that I called O2 as it was the provider's issue - having waited for an hour to get through to O2 on my lunch break - I was told that the number i have and the sim has not been registered by mobiles.co.uk as they haven't sent the details over (1 week after receiving my phone).
I also needed to cancel my previous contract but could not do this until i had a new phone up and running. By the time I got home from work at 6PM - the mobiles.co.uk had closed for the night. So I have now got to pay another months contract with my old provider and at this rate - it will be 2 months.
When i got a hold of Mobiles - they said they needed to credit check me again as the order didn't go through and will re-send my sim and then a week later I received a sim from Carphone Warehouse?! I am guessing this was from them as I saw they are parent companies or something
I have put the sim in and it is still not working - however I don't have much time in lunch breaks to get this all sorted so I asked to that they would correspond by email - but It takes a few days to get a response... So it has been almost a month since I received the phone and I am still not connected.
I will have to call this lunch time to sort it out... which is inconvenient and will waste my lunch break on something that should of been sorted a month ago as well as being out of pocket by paying my old phone provider for 2 months.
